JoseMarin

Born in Valencia on Aug. 11, 1965, son of a goldsmith. At the 13 years old enter in the school of the Guild jewellers of Valencia.

TRAINING

Academic titulations:

  • Graduated as Superior Technician in Design of Artistic Jewellery in the School of Art and Design in Valencia.

Courses:

  • 2001: Course, Professional Recycling, Mechanical Design, Computer Aided taught by the Institute of Metal Mechanic Valencia. 40 hours.
  • 1991-1992: Course, Recycling Superior Professional, Jewellery Design, taught by Metal Mechanic Institute of Valencia and the School of Art and Design of Valencia. 180 hours.
  • 1986-1987: Setting complementary course. 400 hours.
  • 1984-1988: Course of Engraving and setting in the College of the Guild of Jewellers of Valencia.
  • 1978-1983: Jewellery Course at the School of the Guild of Jewellers of Valencia.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • 2014: Jewellery Teacher of techniques and 3D modeling in School of Art and Design of  Valencia.
  • 2006: I open my own workshop.
  • 1992-2006: I take charge section custom jewels Ofiura S.L company.
  • 1998-2001: Create the Oroland brand, in partnership with Agustin Lopez.
  • 1991-1992: Create the Umbral brand.
  • 1990-1995: I make collections for different jewellery factories as a freelance designer.
  • 1988-1992: I was incorporated as modeler in the Antonio Rodriguez workshop.
  • 1981-1987: I enter as an apprentice jeweller in the morning in the Pascual Auñón workshop, who was workshop teacher school of Jewellers Guild of Valencia, complemented learning in the evenings in my father’s workshop.

 

ARTISTIC COLLECTIVE

  • 1993-1995: Adamas member of the group, made up of jewellery designers to further meetings between designers and manufacturers of jewellery and trinkets, with the support of FIJOVA and the Guild of Jewelers of Valencia.
  • 1991-1992: Member of the catalog of trends, published by the International Jewelry Fair in Valencia.

  • 1992: I get a tribute like exemplary student at the School of Jewellery, coinciding with the 750th anniversary of the Guild of Jewelers of Valencia.
